Memorial Kiosk
In keeping with its tradition of progressive, state-of-the-art facilities, the Moravian Cemetery is now completing a Memorial Kiosk — the first of its kind on Staten Island — to put a wealth of information at the fingertips of visiting families.
The easy-to-use computer system in the new Memorial Kiosk will provide access to an extensive cemetery database, as well as pertinent graphics and videos. People will be able to research various information, including the history of the Moravian Cemetery; a listing of those interred in the cemetery; maps of the grounds and guides of gravestone locations; a memorial file with photos and biographical information on the deceased; an interactive video of the new Hillview Mausoleum; and a representation of the Memorial Wall indicating locations of available spaces.
We hope our new Memorial Kiosk will make your visit to the Moravian Cemetery more convenient and informative.
Moravian Cemetery’s Burial Records
Moravian Cemetery’s burial records date back to 1873. If interested in finding a loved one, give us a name and approximate date of death.
A burial record will (usually) list: age, date of death, place of death, person reporting death, clergyman, date of interment, location of burial. Depending on the year the record might include cause of death.
